The ninth European Network of Picturebook Research Conference took place at the City and University Library and the Academy of Arts and Culture of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University, Osijek, Croatia, and was organised by Smiljana Narančić Kovač (in cooperation with Croatian Association of Researchers in Children’s Literature)

• The title of the conference was: ‘The Picturebook between Fiction and Reality’
• The book of abstracts with programme can be found here.
• The featured illustrator was Stanislav Marijanovic, who teaches printing making and illustration at the Academy of Arts in Osijek.
